There aren’t many people going to watch the Arizona Diamondbacks play these days.
It’s understandable, to some extent: they are not really in the playoff picture at the moment, although the team is young and rapidly improving.
With no real chance to make the playoffs, however, fans are not exactly filling the stadium.
Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich, however, hilariously pretended that members of the Diamondbacks bullpen were fans, and he gifted them a souvenir.
After making a running catch in left field, Yelich had a little chat with one of the members of the D-Backs bullpen, and then tossed the ball he just had caught to him.
The “fan” in question lifted his arms in celebration.

It was a funny moment.
While the D-Backs are considered an up-and-coming team that actually has some exciting names to follow for the future, the Brewers are seen as a disappointment.
Yelich And The Brewers Have Been Disappointing
They entered the year prepared to fight with the St. Louis Cardinals for a playoff spot, or at least for a Wild Card berth.
After a not-so-good deadline, they are currently 69-61, 6.5 games behind St. Louis and three games behind the San Diego Padres for the last Wild Card spot.
In other words, they are currently out of the postseason.
Yelich’s disappointing power output is actually one of the reasons why.
With a .259/.360/.387 line and 11 home runs in 546 plate appearances, he hasn’t been bad per se, but he is far from the hitter who had 80 home runs between 2018 and 2019.
Neck and back injuries have played a huge role, unfortunately.
He had some fun in Arizona, but after that, he left the game on Thursday with neck soreness.
Hopefully he is OK and can continue to gift us happy moments on the field.
