No team in the NFL has higher expectations than the New York Jets heading into the 2023 NFL season, with the arrival of superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers lifting this team to Super Bowl title contender status and the focus of a lot of people’s attention.
After a disappointing season last year where the quarterback position was really the only major problem, the Jets were determined to upgrade the position and were able to do a much better job than expected by bringing in Rodgers.
Although some doubt whether Rodgers may have anything left at this stage in his career, the four-time NFL MVP seems rejuvenated in New York and ready to lead this team to a Super Bowl, as he appears more motivated than ever.
Unfortunately for New York, the NFL did them no favors when it comes to the schedule, as the Jets have a brutal stretch to start the season and a tough schedule all around.
Chris Broussard believes he knows what the recipe for success will be for the Jets heading into this difficult schedule, via “First Things First” on Twitter.

As Broussard points out, the first six games for the Jets are about as tough as they come, as Rodgers and company will face the Buffalo Bills, Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos, and Philadelphia Eagles.
Outside of the Broncos and Patriots, those are some incredibly tough teams and potential title contenders in both conferences.
As Broussard suggests, if the Jets can split those first six games, and that is a distinct possibility if they’re the real deal, then they might be able to go the distance.
