Haliburton came to the league in the 2020 NBA Draft.
He was selected as the 12th pick by the Sacramento Kings, where he spent the first few years of his career.
As for the Knicks, they obviously didn’t listen to Anthony and drafted Obi Toppin as the eighth pick instead.
All these years later, the Knicks wish they would have paid attention to Anthony’s request and signed Haliburton instead.
He is having a sensational season and has become a household name for millions of fans with his 26.9 points, 4 rebounds, and 11.9 assists per game.
Those 11.9 assists are a league-high and one of the reasons why so many people are paying attention to everything Haliburton does.
Fans of the Pacers have been astonished by Haliburton since he came to the team a few seasons ago but now many more people have heaped praise and attention on the All-Star.
Haliburton is fun to watch because of his youth, speed, and personality and he can shoot really well too.
However, it’s his passing abilities that have raised his profile the most.
Haliburton creates multiple amazing passes every game and he makes it all look easy.
Anthony knew it years ago and Pacers fans have recognized it for several seasons, but now everyone else sees how special Haliburton is.
