The Dallas Cowboys had one of the worst defenses in the NFL before Dan Quinn took over as their defensive coordinator.
Of course, adding a generational talent like Micah Parsons also helps, but Quinn deserves plenty of credit for helping the Cowboys contend for their division since he arrived.
So, it’s not surprising to see that Quinn has gauged some league-wide interest in a potential head coaching position, with the Arizona Cardinals bringing him in for a second interview already.
According to NFL insider Tom Pelissero, the Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts have also reached out to the former Atlanta Falcons head coach.
The #Cardinals are flying in Dan Quinn tonight for a second interview for their head coaching job, per sources.

Both of these teams would make perfect sense for Quinn, as they already feature a strong defensive unit.
The Cardinals, on the other hand, would need plenty of help on both sides of the football after another disastrous and disappointing season under Kliff Kingsbury.
Of course, some are still hesitant about Quinn, given his long and well-documented story of blowing big leads during his days in Atlanta.
Also, some believe he should hang on and wait in Dallas in case the job becomes available, but unsurprisingly, team owner Jerry Jones has already affirmed his commitment to Mike McCarthy and stated that he’s coming back next season.
Whatever the case, there’s no denying that Quinn deserves another shot at an HC gig and has earned his stripes.
And with OC Kellen Moore also interviewing with multiple teams, the Cowboys might enter the upcoming season without their top two assistants.
