Fans of the Tennessee Titans had a good night after their team beat the Green Bay Packers on Thursday night.
With the win, the Titans are in firm control of the AFC South, and getting closer to a playoff spot.
However, quarterback Ryan Tannehill‘s performance Thursday night is turning heads for fans.
To some, they believe he can lead the team to a Super Bowl.
But are their beliefs founded in sound judgement, or are they overreaction?
Thursday’s Performance Makes Tannehill Look Super Bowl Ready
Tannehill came out and put on a clinic with his play against the Packers on Thursday Night Football.
It’s this performance which leads fans to believe if he keeps this up, they are Super Bowl contenders.

His night, which saw him go 22-27 for 333 yards and two touchdowns, was his best game of the season.
However, one interception tarnished his otherwise amazing night.
But even with the turnover, he was performing at a high level against the Packers.
While these things get fans excited over him, there’s a reason he did well against the Packers.
Injuries On Packers Defense Made Things Easy For Tannehill
Injuries on the Packers defense made things easier for Tannehill on Thursday night.
With De’Vondre Campbell and Jonathan Ford out, it took away from the pass rush.
While they were out, other players in the secondary were out as well, making things easy on the Titans quarterback.
So while people are raving over an impressive performance, it was against a banged-up defense.
When the Titans quarterback has to face better defenses during the playoffs, he will falter and prevent his team from reaching the Super Bowl.
