The Brooklyn Nets lost their second game in a row on Tuesday night, falling to the Phoenix Suns, 116-112.
It was another tough defeat for the team, just days after losing one of their biggest stars, Kyrie Irving.
But even though the Nets fell to another opponent, one of their players had yet another sensational night.
Over his last three games, Cam Thomas is averaging 44.7 points on 56/56/90 shooting splits!

Cam Thomas once again impressed Nets fans with a 43-point showing.
This was his third amazing game in a row.
Over the last three games, Thomas has averaged 44.7 points on 56/56/90 from the field.
Thomas has been solid all season long but this last week has seen him turn a page and become a superstar seemingly overnight.
It started on February 4 when he scored 44 points.
But that was surpassed just days later, with a 47-point game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Finally, his game against Phoenix on Tuesday proved that Thomas is still red-hot.
Unfortunately, two of those three games ended in defeat for the Nets, who are still without Kevin Durant and of course now lacking Irving too.
This is troubling because a team doesn’t want to lose when one player is scoring more than 40.
But it speaks to the gaps in Brooklyn’s roster that need filling.
One thing is clear: Thomas is going to be a major part of that roster in the future.
Thomas has seen a steady increase in his minutes over the season and you can bet he will be playing alongside Durant regularly.
In fact, he will likely be head coach Jacque Vaughn’s number-two option for scoring for the foreseeable future.
Thomas has become a star and has given Nets fans something to be excited about during a very transitional and difficult period.
