The Denver Broncos need to make some changes if they hope to turn their season around.
Nothing has seemed to go well for Russell Wilson this season, and now he is hurt.
The 2-4 Broncos are set to host the 4-2 Jets on Sunday.
According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, it will be Brett Rypien under center for Denver and not Wilson.
The #Broncos will start QB Brett Rypien tomorrow vs the #Jets, as Russell Wilson won’t play, source said. The final determination was made after he threw this morning. Wilson received very few reps in practice this week.

While that may seem like a downgrade at quarterback, Rypien can not be any worse than Wilson.
The former Seahawk has struggled in his first season with the Broncos.
In six games, Wilson has thrown five touchdowns and three interceptions.
Also, he has the worst completion percentage of his career at 58.6%.
Wilson has been dealing with multiple injuries over the past few weeks.
Including his throwing shoulder and hamstring.
It will be interesting to see how the Broncos play with a new QB on Sunday.
Even though Rypien playing well might be the worst thing for the front office.
That is because Denver is stuck with Wilson after giving him a huge contract.
But, if Rypien plays well and they win, it might be hard to give Wilson the starting job back.
Also, this is a big game for head coach, Nathaniel Hackett.
He has been on the hot seat for a large portion of the season even though this is his first year.
This will be a good chance to show that he is a capable NFL head coach.
Playing at home against a surging Jets team, this will be a tough game for the Broncos.
But, it is one they need to win if they want to make the playoffs this year.
