The Colorado Rockies had a difficult season in 2022, finishing with just 68 wins and ending up at the bottom of the National League West division.
However, the team has made a few additions that have seemingly strengthened their bullpen ahead of the 2023 season.
The additions of veteran left-handers Brent Suter and Brad Hand give them a little more flexibility out of the pen.
Suter has spent the vast majority of his career with the Milwaukee Brewers and now has a chance to suit up for a new team.
On Monday, Suter stopped by MLB Network to discuss his new home and what it means for him to be a part of the Rockies.

Suter says that he felt “at home” when he joined the Rockies and got a chance to experience spring training with the team.
The veteran lefty was fortunate to have already known several of the players on the team, having played against some of them and having spent time with those who are a part of the Players Union.
Suter is one of the leading members of the MLBPA.
He says it didn’t take long for him to get acclimated to his new surroundings.
Suter also expressed excitement for the opportunity to play under manager Bud Black, describing his relationship with his new manager and crediting him for having good energy.
Black was once a player, as Suter is now.
He was a left-handed pitcher during his playing days, something that Suter thinks should be helpful for him as he gets to know his new manager.
