Game 2 of the National League Division Series between the Atlanta Braves and the Philadelphia Phillies was supposed to start in the afternoon.
However, the weather forecast in Atlanta wasn’t particularly encouraging, and the start of the game was delayed.
It is obviously a fluid situation with the weather, but technology is now equipped to help plan around the weather.
The Braves offered their most recent weather update, and it looks we are having a night game.
“Weather update: There will be another weather call around 6 p.m., but current forecasts suggest starting the game around 7:30-7:45. We will continue to update as we hear!” the Braves tweeted on Wednesday afternoon.

MLB is obviously trying to have the game today, as scheduled, because it would be much more convenient that way.
Hopefully, weather allows it and we will have baseball around 7:30 or 7:45.
The Braves Will Report The Exact Start Time In A Few Minutes
An official start time should be offered by the Braves around 6 p.m. ET.
The Phillies took Game 1 of the thrilling NLDS in dramatic fashion.
They entered the ninth inning up 7-3 in the score, but starter-turned-closer Zach Eflin allowed a three-run home run to Matt Olson that made it a one-run game.
After that, William Contreras hit a liner to right field, but Nick Castellanos robbed him what looked like an extra-base hit.
That brought some peace to the Phillies for the rest of the inning, and Eflin was able to hold on and get the victory for his team.
Game 2 will be pivotal as we head to Philadelphia after it finishes.
If the Phillies travel home with a 2-0 lead, the Braves’ chances of advancing would be dramatically diminished.
