Over the past few months, no team in the NFL has made more noise or created more hype for the 2023 season than the New York Jets.
The Jets made the bold move to make a blockbuster trade with the Green Bay Packers to acquire superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers, which some believe thrust the team into Super Bowl title contenders in 2023.
With Rodgers now under center in the Big Apple, the Jets have become a team getting a lot of attention and some off-the-field buzz from former players turned pundits like Brandon Marshall.
Apparently, Marshall is willing to come out of retirement to play tight end for the Jets in order to play with Rodgers in New York, as he said via the I AM ATHLETE Podcast.

Obviously, Marshall is having a bit of fun with this, and it’s not like a Super Bowl title contender would call up a retired 39-year-old to play a different position next season.
At one point in their careers, Marshall and Rodgers playing together would’ve been lethal and perhaps one of the best quarterback-receiver duos in the NFL.
However, those days are long gone, and there’s no guarantee that Rodgers can still play at an MVP level after a disappointing 2022 campaign with the Packers.
The Jets will be must-see TV during the 2023 NFL season, with Rodgers leading the way on whether the team lives up to expectations or becomes an absolute disaster.
It’ll be interesting to see how everything unfolds in New York for better or for worse.
