Despite being just 16 years old, Cooper Flagg already looks like the next big thing in the NBA.
The small forward from Montverde Academy has turned a lot of heads for years now, excelling with USA Basketball’s youth teams and going viral every time a clip of him surfaces online.
However, none of his accomplishments might be as big as the latest.
According to former NBA player Brian Scalabrine (via NBA Central), the 16-year-old dominated Bradley Beal at Jayson Tatum’s camp, going at him and even trash-talking him, up to the point where Beal got really mad.

Flagg’s trash-talking game is reportedly as good as his actual game is, and he was going one-on-one vs. a bonafide NBA player and former All-Star, which only speaks volumes to his confidence.
On the flip side, that’s not exactly a great look for the Phoenix Suns’ latest addition.
Recently, Beal talked about how he wanted to become a presence on the defensive end of the floor again and go back to his former level, so getting schooled by a high school player isn’t exactly a good sign.
It’s been years since Beal last played meaningful basketball, as the Washington Wizards haven’t exactly been a playoff contender.
But that’s not going to be the case now that he’s arrived in the Valley of the Sun, as the pressure will be on them to deliver from the very second they set foot on the court.
Maybe, he’ll be just fine as long as Flagg doesn’t make it to the league.
