The Denver Nuggets were confident in letting Facundo Campazzo and Monte Morris go before the start of the season.
They knew that Jamal Murray was coming back and that Nikola Jokic was one of the best playmakers this game has ever seen.
But more than that, they knew that Nah’Shon ‘Bones’ Hyland was ready to take a bigger role this year.
Thus far, the second-year player out of VCU has rewarded that confidence with a great play off the bench, averaging 13.5 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 2.5 three-pointers on roughly over 20 minutes a night:
“Bones is such an important part to this team,” coach Mike Malone told the Denver Post. “He really is. When Bones is playing well, the impact he has, not only on that second unit, but the starters, is (huge).”
“Once I’m being myself out there, being Bizzy, playing with confidence, I think I give so much confidence within the team,” Bones said. “I ignite that spark.”
Well, that ‘Bizziness’ and confidence were once again on full display on Thursday night’s win over the Los Angeles Clippers.
Bones — who tallied 16 points on 5/11 shooting — became the league’s newest meme after scoring an athletic bucket over Amir Coffey.
He fell to the ground and just stared at the camera for several seconds with one of the most hilarious expressions you’ll ever see.

The Nuggets found little trouble getting past the Clippers, jumping to a 32-15 lead in the first quarter and never letting go of that lead.
Moreover, they’ll now have an image to remember this game for years to come.
