The Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions went to battle in Week 15 in a game that many called a Super Bowl preview.
Both teams are among the best in their respective conferences and are on a strong track to make the big game.
Fans felt like this was going to be a shootout, and it ended up providing all of the drama they had hoped for and more.
Josh Allen and Jared Goff battled all game, but when the clock struck zero, the Bills came away with a hard-fought victory.
This not only puts the Bills in a better position to get the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs, but it hurt the Lions’ chances of doing the same in the NFC, as the Philadelphia Eagles are right on their tail.
To add insult to injury, the Bills’ social media team published a post to troll Lions fans, which said “Bills Win” in a font reminiscent of Sonic the Hedgehog.

This is in homage to the Lions’ backfield of David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs, who are often called “Sonic and Knuckles,” demonstrating the one-two punch that they can showcase against opposing defenses.
While this post was in jest, the Bills’ win is a sign and a statement to the rest of the league that they aren’t playing around.
Despite some early season questions, the Bills have now taken some of the best teams down in the regular season, including the Lions, further establishing themselves as a major threat.
