The Buffalo Bills are coming off another frustrating playoff loss.
After having success in the regular season, this team came up just short of a Super Bowl berth, losing in the AFC Championship to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Josh Allen won league MVP, a further indication that the Bills have the right quarterback in place, but the team has started to make some changes around him to hopefully change their outlook in 2025 and beyond.
According to reporter Ryan O’Halloran, the Bills recently fired their strength and conditioning coach, Eric Ciano, who was with the team since 2013.
Sources: #Bills fired strength and conditioning coach Eric Ciano this week. Had been in role with team since 2013 so pre-dated McDermott (2017) and Beane (2018).

It’s difficult to point fingers within an organization after a loss of this magnitude, especially since it’s been a recurring issue for the Bills, but someone had to be the scapegoat.
Ciano will now be on the hunt for another job, presumably within the NFL, but he had a strong track record with the Bills, so he shouldn’t have any difficulties finding work.
The Bills, in many ways, had all of the tools to beat the Chiefs this year.
Allen played great throughout the playoffs, and the defense was mostly strong, but for whatever reason, this team can’t find a way to get over the hump.
Perhaps some fresh eyes in the locker room will help this team take the next step and finally make it back to the Super Bowl.
The AFC has proven to be a difficult path with Patrick Mahomes still in the league and performing at a high level, but someone has to knock them down, eventually, and the Bills seemingly have one of the best chances to make that happen.
