Once again, it looks like the Buffalo Bills are going to be the class of the AFC East, and perhaps the team to beat in the AFC.
After surprisingly falling to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 1 at home, the Bills have throttled their next three opponents to the tune of a 118-21 margin.
In that stretch, they shut out the Miami Dolphins and Houston Texans, and comfortably took care of business against the Washington Football Team.
The Steelers loss is looking more and more like an anomaly, given the way Buffalo has bounced back, and the way Pittsburgh has played since the opening weekend of the season.
However, the Bills get arguably the biggest test of their season under the bright lights of Sunday Night Football this week.

They have a date with the Kansas City Chiefs on the road, who made quick work of them in last year’s AFC title game.
This will serve as an important litmus test for Buffalo, as fans curiously await clues on whether the Bills are ready to make that next step in the conference.
Josh Allen Has Yet To Beat Kansas City
It’s a relatively small sample size to be fair, but Josh Allen has not defeated the Chiefs in his career to date.
Granted, it’s no easy task given the powerhouse Kansas City has become, but it would be beneficial for Allen’s confidence and the feeling around the Bills to get this game.
The Chiefs have hosted three straight title games, and are the main roadblock sitting in Buffalo’s way.
It’s possible that the third time will be the charm for Allen, and it might be one of the biggest wins of his career if he can pull it off.

What Will Buffalo’s Run Game Look Like?
The Chiefs don’t exactly deploy a fearsome running game, and still have managed to be one of the most prolific offenses in league history.
On the other side, however, it will be important for Buffalo to get some sort of production from Zack Moss and Devin Singletary.
Allen is becoming one of the best players in the NFL, but engaging in an intentional aerial shootout against Patrick Mahomes is still a lot to ask.
If Singletary and Moss can provide a respectable rushing output, it’ll take time off the clock, and will allow the Bills to utilize play-action more effectively.
Can The Bills Get Pressure On Patrick Mahomes?
We saw what the Tampa Bay Buccaneers did to the Chiefs offense in the Super Bowl, after Kansas City was decimated across their offensive line heading into that game.
Tampa Bay put unrelenting pressure on Mahomes, and he was running for his life for most of that contest.
It was the Buffalo game where Eric Fisher went down, but the Bills were not able to make Kansas City pay for their turmoil up front.
They were only able to sack Mahomes one time in that game.
They’ll need to be much more effective in that department on Sunday to have a realistic chance of winning.
