The Atlanta Falcons didn’t make the playoffs this season.
They hired Raheem Morris to replace Arthur Smith and get back on track, but that wasn’t the case in 2024.
Notably, they could’ve had a much more experienced head coach leading the way.
The Falcons were quite close to hiring Bill Belichick before eventually backing down from that decision.
Perhaps that’s why Belichick’s girlfriend wanted to be a little petty.
As shown by Michael J. Babcock on X, 24-year-old Jordon Hudson wore a Falcons Super Bowl LI champs shirt.

The Falcons lost that Super Bowl to Belichick’s Patriots, so those shirts never saw the light of day.
The Falcons were up 28-3 late in the game before one of the most epic collapses in sports history.
So, given the Falcons’ recent history with Belichick, this was the ultimate petty move by Hudson.
Some reports state that New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft urged the Falcons’ owner not to trust Belichick, who eventually went unhired.
Belichick reportedly tried to get back in the NFL this season, but since there weren’t that many options or offers sitting on his table, he pivoted and took the UNC Tar Heels’ head coaching position in one of the most shocking turn of events.
Whether we’ll ever see Belichick get back to the league at some point in the future remains to be seen.
For now, we can only assume that he was not particularly thrilled with the Falcons’ handling of his situation last season.
