Initial reports suggested Mike McCarthy, Anthony Weaver and Mike Kafka were set to interview, though a snowstorm initially threw a wrench into those plans.
The hunt has narrowed down to an intriguing race, with betting odds suggesting a tight competition primarily between McCarthy and Joe Brady.
According to Jaime Eisner of The Draft Network, the latest prediction market from Kalshi shows McCarthy with a 46 percent chance to land the job and Brady at 43 percent, a razor-thin margin that’s keeping Saints fans on the edge of their seats.

Despite being the youngest candidate, the 35-year-old’s four-season track record at the coordinator level, including a stint with the Carolina Panthers, speaks volumes about his potential.
McCarthy, on the other hand, boasts a deep historical connection to the Saints.
Dating to the 2000 season, his journey with the team began when Jim Haslett hired him as an assistant and quickly promoted him to offensive coordinator.
At just 36 years old then, McCarthy became the youngest offensive coordinator in the NFL.
His existing relationships with Saints executives Mickey Loomis and Randy Mueller add another layer to his candidacy.
Brady can’t proceed to his second interview until after the AFC Championship Game.
