What a performance by the Phoenix Suns.
They were able to sweep the Denver Nuggets with so much ease.
The Suns made a statement in those four games.
Nobody expected a sweep to occur.
We expected a nice competitive series with the most likely outcome being the Suns to win.
Instead we got a dominant showing by the Suns.
The Nuggets had the MVP, but the Suns had the complete and better roster.
This team is ready to make a legit run at the title this season.
Several players on the Suns have had a great postseason thus far.
Chris Paul and Devin Booker are playing like superstars.
Deandre Ayton is showing why he was the number one overall pick a few years ago.
Role players, like Jae Crowder and Cameron Payne, have been great in spots.
This is an all-around team that has looked unstoppable for the past week-and-a-half.
The Suns have been phenomenal, but let’s pick two top performances from this past series.
Here are the best performances from their sweep.
2. Chris Paul, Game 2
Game 2 was a masterclass of how to play the point guard position.
Paul was brilliant in Game 2.
He put up 17 points, 15 assists, and five rebounds.
The 15 assists were impressive, especially knowing that he had zero turnovers.
Chris Paul tallies 15 assists and 0 turnovers for the 3rd time in his #NBAPlayoffs career as the @Suns go up 2-0! Game 3 is Friday at 10 PM ET on ESPN. #ThatsGame

Paul was elite at distributing to his teammates throughout the game.
This performance was matched with a 25-point victory for the Suns.
People assumed that this was the game for the Nuggets to compete and make this an interesting series.
However, Paul did not let them get that chance.
The Nuggets had no chance of containing Paul this game.
His mid-range was lethal.
The playmaking was out of this world.
He was on a different level than anyone on the Nuggets.
Paul’s offensive brilliance was too much for Facundo Campazzo, or Monte Morris, to handle.
Game 2 was an example of the greatness that Paul possesses.
1. Devin Booker and Chris Paul, Game 4
Game 4 of this series was the end for the Nuggets.
Their MVP, Nikola Jokic, was ejected.
Then the Suns took off.
Paul and Booker were absolutely amazing this game.
The Suns dynamic duo were on fire all game.
Chris Paul (37 PTS) and Devin Booker (34 PTS) are the 3rd pair of @Suns teammates to each score 34+ PTS in an #NBAPlayoffs game.
The other 2 pairs:
Charles Barkley (43 PTS) and Dan Majerle (34 PTS) on June 1, 1993
Steve Nash (39 PTS) and Shawn Marion (38 PTS) on May 20, 2005 pic.twitter.com/2Ct1nD9URd

Booker put up 34 points and 11 rebounds.
Paul had a career game with 37 points and seven assists.
Game 4 was a great showing from both of them at the same time.
They have a case right now to be the best backcourt remaining in the playoffs.
Booker has been on fire throughout the entire playoffs.
Paul is back to looking like he is 100 percent healthy and is playing at elite level, despite his age.
This performance by the two All-Stars helped put the final nail in the coffin of the Nuggets season.
Now they are in the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2010.
They are four games away from making their first Finals appearance since 1993.
The Suns are for real this year.
If they can have players repeat the performances they have been giving; they should be frontrunners for the NBA championship.
