In the heat of adversity, a person’s true character often comes out.
Cincinnati Bengals coach Zac Taylor has been given lots of public praise after his actions on Monday night.
Joe Burrow was just one of the many notable names within the NFL community to give his respective kudos to coach Taylor, and the way he acted towards Damar Hamlin and the rest of the Buffalo Bills organization.

The game on Monday between the Bills and the Bengals was certainly imperative for playoff seeding.
A win for either team could vault them closer to that elusive first-round bye, and secure themselves home-field advantage throughout the playoffs as well.
Taylor’s actions were evidence that he didn’t care about the score or even football.
His primary focus was on Hamlin and wanting to make sure of Hamlin’s status before anything else.
When a player of the caliber of Burrow makes such a strong positive reaction to something his coach does, it does not go unnoticed.
Burrow’s confidence in Taylor to lead the team with integrity is crucial, especially since they are likely on their way to making another deep postseason run together.
This is Taylor’s fourth full season with the Bengals, which happens to be his first-ever head coaching gig.
Similar to many other coaches around the league, Taylor stems from Sean McVay’s coaching tree in Los Angeles and has made an instant impact as the Bengals head coach.
He has proven that not only can he lead the team to victories, but can lead the team in other ways as well.
