There is never an easy way to deal with situations such as the one that unfolded in Monday night’s game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills.
Bills safety Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field and had to receive CPR, and the game was postponed after both teams and the fans were shaken up after such a horrific event.
On Tuesday, support continued to be poured out for Hamlin, his family, and his teammates.
Bengals owner Mike Brown released a touching statement in support of Hamlin, who is on everybody’s minds for the time being.

“First and foremost, the Bengals continue to send thoughts and prayers to Damar Hamlin and his family. Our hearts are with everyone in this unprecedented time — what we can do is support one another…As medical personnel undertook extraordinary measures, both teams demonstrated respect and compassion while fans in the stadium and people around the country bolstered the support for Damar and love for each other.”
The medical staff immediately took action, and we can’t forget the hard work of those first responders who rushed to administer CPR and life-saving techniques for Hamlin.
Bengals head coach Zac Taylor consoled the Bills and head coach Sean McDermott, and Taylor was even seen at the hospital that Hamlin was at on Monday night.
Fans of both teams were also at the hospital to show support for Hamlin.
In a time of unforeseen circumstances, both teams responded as well as they could, and the entire Bengals organization is sending their wishes and prayers to Damar Hamlin and his family.
