The NFL head-coaching cycle is heating up as 18 teams are now sitting at home preparing for the offseason.
A few of those teams, such as the New England Patriots, Las Vegas Raiders, Chicago Bears and Jacksonville Jaguars, are looking for a new head coach.
The biggest name in this current coaching cycle is arguably Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson.
According to ESPN insider Adam Schefter, Johnson has four upcoming interviews with the Lions having a first-round playoff bye.
Johnson is slated to meet with the Patriots and Raiders on Friday and with the Bears and Jaguars on Saturday.

It is no surprise that these teams are interested in Johnson.
In each of the past two seasons, Detroit has finished in the top three in total offense.
This season, the Lions finished the regular season first in scoring offense, second in passing offense and second in total offense.
Quarterback Jared Goff looks like an MVP candidate thanks to the coaching of Johnson.
Johnson was brought to Detroit in 2020 when Dan Campbell was hired as head coach because the two worked together as offensive assistants with the Miami Dolphins.
Now, Johnson has made himself one of the prime head coaching targets.
At 38 years old, Johnson looks ready to be an NFL head coach and usher in a new era for a starving organization.
It doesn’t get much more starving than the four teams that are scheduled to interview him this weekend.
