NBA fans all over the world were shocked when they heard that Chris Paul had been traded to the Golden State Warriors.
But some NBA players were also just as blindsided by the news.
Speaking to the Full Send podcast, Los Angeles Lakers star Austin Reaves expressed his own feelings about it.
“That was random,” Reaves said.
He continued, “One of the coaches… told me. I was like, you’re probably looking at the wrong… I think that’s ButtCrackSports, that always puts out false stuff.”

The idea of Paul leaving the Phoenix Suns wasn’t surprising but his move to the Warriors was.
When the Suns’ latest season again ended in disappointment, many people expected that head coach Monty Williams was out the door, with at least a few players going too.
As good as he had been at times, Paul seemed like the logical choice to depart.
However, not many people expected the Warriors to be the squad that acquired him.
That was mostly because they already had perhaps the best point guard alive with Steph Curry.
Sometimes too much similar talent can actually be a bad thing.
So, how could Curry and Paul work alongside each other?
That still hasn’t been clearly established but fans are excited to see what Paul can do for the team, either as a starter or a bench player.
Reaves might joke about Paul playing for the Warriors now but he could regret it in a few months.
If their acquisition of Paul ends up being a smart move, the Golden State Warriors could make the lives of the Lakers very painful during the upcoming season.
