The Golden State Warriors didn’t finish the season the way they wanted to, but that doesn’t mean they’re done.
If anything, that only left them even more hungry ahead of the upcoming campaign, and they’re already trying to get in shape and get ready for the season.
With that in mind, legendary Sixth Man Jamal Crawford recently announced that Jonathan Kuminga and Gary Payton II will partake in his Pro-Am league, The Crawsover, this weekend in Seattle.
Uh oh.

The Warriors went to great lengths to get Gary Payton II back after letting him walk away in free agency.
It cost them their former No. 3 pick, James Wiseman, but it became more than evident that they needed his slashing and pesky backcourt defense if they wanted to go deep into the playoffs again.
Unfortunately, he was hurt for most of the season and wasn’t able to have the same impact as he had during their title run vs. the Boston Celtics.
As for Kuminga, he showed flashes of great play, and some believe he could’ve been way more helpful in the playoffs, but it seems like he has yet to earn Steve Kerr’s trust in full.
There have been rumors about Kuminga being unhappy with his role and looking to get traded to unleash his talents, but there hasn’t been any traction there.
But with Jordan Poole gone, the door is now open for him to do his thing next season, so it’ll be up to him to prove that he’s got what it takes to play heavy minutes for the Warriors.
