Edwards didn’t mince his words when explaining the poor level of defense played by the Clippers.
So much so that he claimed the entire game was full of multiple mismatches against him.
Edwards may be one of the youngest players in the league, but he certainly has a huge aura around him, thanks to his incredible scoring prowess.
In fact, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal recently compared him to young a Dwyane Wade and Kobe Bryant in terms of scoring abilities.
The 22-year-old star is averaging 26.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game for the Timberwolves.
He is also shooting a solid 46.3% from the field and 36.7% from the three-point line.
Thanks to the Edwards’ excellent performances this season, the Timberwolves are currently the number three seed in the Western Conference with a 45-21 record.
The only question remains whether Edwards can lead the team to a glorious postseason run or not.
