Even though the Los Angeles Lakers suffered a rough loss on Sunday night, they still got some good news: LeBron James is back.
The star player returned after 13 games away because of a foot injury and his presence was felt on the court, even if he was a bit slower than normal.
Following the defeat, Anthony Davis opened up about the team and what’s next as the final seven games of the season approach.
Davis was confident that the team will work out the kinks and said “we’ll be fine.”
“[James is] good enough, we’re good enough to kinda figure it out on the fly. I think we’ll be fine for sure,” Davis told reporters.

Although still soft-spoken, Davis seemed much more enthusiastic about his team than he was just a few weeks ago.
There have been points in the season when he sounded completely defeated and down in the dumps about his team’s prospects.
Even though the Lakers are still struggling at times and their place in the play-in tournament isn’t guaranteed, Davis seems hopeful.
He has many reasons to be: James is a dominant player who is only getting healthier and the team is now filled with a strong cast of supporting characters.
In many ways, the Lakers are in the best position they have been in for ages.
But will it be enough?
A huge part of the team’s success or failure will revolve around Davis, who has been painfully inconsistent at times.
He will need to focus on his game and stay laser-focused over the next seven games.
He has reason to be optimistic but he can’t let his guard down at all.
