The New Orleans Saints recently brought in linebacker Anthony Barr for a free-agent visit.
Barr spent the first eight years of his NFL career with the Minnesota Vikings before signing with the Dallas Cowboys last year.
His one-year deal in Dallas didn’t inspire the kind of confidence they were looking for, and Barr is now on the hunt for a new team.
According to a recent report from Josina Anderson, Barr is targeting the New York Giants as his next meeting.
Free agent LB Anthony Barr told me he's currently targeting the #Giants for his next visit.
The sides are working on scheduling a firm date.
Additionally, Barr did pass his physical with the #Saints earlier, but added he'd like to visit more teams before making his decision.

As Anderson indicates, Barr is looking to weigh all of his options before deciding on a new team.
When healthy, Barr has been a valuable linebacker.
He has been selected to the Pro Bowl four times, and he was well-respected within the Vikings locker room.
Going into year 10, Barr can afford to be selective with his decision and has been somewhat of a hot commodity.
He should be a valuable member of any defense he joins, given his career history.
Even if Barr’s on-field performance leaves something to be desired in 2023, having a veteran in the locker room is invaluable.
Young defensive players can glean plenty from a player with Barr’s experience, as he’s played on many top defenses.
For fans, it’s now a waiting game while Barr works through his decisions.
If he’s given a meeting with the Giants, will he sign there, given his public interest in the organization?
Many veteran free agents join teams they believe have the best chance to make the playoffs, giving them a prime opportunity for a Super Bowl ring.
