The NFL offseason is filled with rankings, predictions, and general conversations about the upcoming season.
At times, NFL news can seem stale during this time, especially in June and July.
However, with just a few weeks until the regular season kicks off, there is a different feel when analysts provide rankings.
In a recent segment of ‘First Things First,’ Greg Jennings provided some ranks of his own.
He detailed his thoughts on the quarterback position, giving his top-ten list of current players.
While there weren’t many surprises, having Daniel Jones as his ninth-best quarterback was shocking to many.
"Daniel Jones is a Top 10 quarterback in the NFL." 👀@GregJennings' Top 10 NFL QBs:

2. Joe Burrow
3. Jalen Hurts
4. Josh Allen
5. Justin Herbert

When discussing Jones and the New York Giants, Jennings said, “This year, he’s going to turn from not just top-10, but elite.”
While Jones hasn’t necessarily proved himself as a top-10 player to this point, Jennings believes that 2023 is the season where he turns it around.
He cited a lack of receiving help, noting that he’s the only marquee quarterback in the league without a star at the position.
Saquon Barkley has been great in the passing game, but he’s needed more to establish the run game.
The Giants did go out and acquire Darren Waller during the offseason, a veteran tight end that should help.
During the offseason, the Giants signed Jones to a four-year contract extension, further tying him to the organization.
They believe in his talent as their starter for the foreseeable future and now he has to prove it.
Will Jones take a massive leap forward this season as Jennings believes he can?
