Angels Resort To Memes To Cope With Latest Loss

Well, just when we thought things couldn’t get any worse for the Los Angeles Angels, they got even worse.

Last night, the Halos suffered their 14th consecutive loss, falling to the Boston Red Sox, 1-0.

The Angels remain in complete free-fall mode and have officially hit rock bottom with their latest defeat.

Sometimes though, when things get bad, it’s best to continue to try and look on the bright side of life.

That’s what the Angels appear to be doing after last night’s defeat.

On Twitter, the team posted a funny meme to recap what happened, photoshopping an Angels hat into a famous Nickelback meme, which has the scoreboard from last night on it.

Sometimes, you’ve got to resort to memes to ease the pain, and that’s what the Angels are doing.

More Pain

There’s nothing else you can say at this point.

This is about as bad as you can get if you’re the Angels.

The team is slumping, and nothing appears to be working.

Well, except for their meme game.

At least that’s still going strong.

It’d be a completely different story if their meme game wasn’t going.

Even after firing Joe Maddon, the Angels just cannot seem to turn it around and get going.

With their loss, they fell to 3.5 games behind the Red Sox for the third AL Wild Card spot.

They’ve got one more game against the Sox today.

Shohei Ohtani has a chance to play the role of stopper and reverse his team’s fortunes.

If they lose tonight, who knows what their next meme will be?
