The MLB All-Star Game is always an honor every player wants to enjoy throughout their career.
But, with so many deserving players each year there always seem to be a few that get left out.
One player that feels he was snubbed this year is Los Angeles Angels closer Carlos Estevez.
According to Sam Blum, Estevez was distraught not to be named an All-Star.
Estevez said, “It’s crazy, but it is what it is. It sucks. But they picked their guys. I don’t know what else I have to do.”
Carlos Estévez on not making the ASG:
"It's crazy, but it is what it is. It sucks. But they picked their guys. I don't know what else I have to do."
Said that he'll gladly go if selected as a replacement, but feels like he should have been picked up front.

With the number of players that are usually replaced due to injury, Estevez will most likely get the opportunity to go.
He deserves his first All-Star nod, which is why he was so upset.
On the season Estevez has 21 saves and an ERA of 1.85.
He has not blown a save yet this year and has 11.1 strikeouts per nine.
Estevez is on a long list of players that got snubbed for the ASG.
But since MLB has a rule that there must be an All-Star from every team, it makes things difficult.
Some less deserving players on bad teams got the nod over a player like Estevez who is having a career year.
Many things have to go right for a player to be named to the All-Star team.
Some great players fail to make the team due to injuries and other circumstances.
For Estevez, everything has seemingly gone right this year and hopefully, he will get the opportunity to play in the ASG.
