The Chicago White Sox are once again having a disappointing season.
This is the second straight year they are not playing up to their potential.
When a team is struggling like the White Sox, it is unsurprising to see them get frustrated over little things.
That happened to Lance Lynn after the White Sox’s win over the Los Angeles Angels on Thursday.
Lynn was not happy that Angels shortstop Andrew Velazquez bunted for a hit against him.
He mentioned in his postgame press conference that Velazquez is a “grown man” and should “swing the bat.”
Angels insider Sam Blum laughed at that comment from Lynn and how bad of an opinion it was.
This is an absolutely hilariously awful opinion from Lance Lynn.
Like, dude, what are you talking about?

Bunt hits have been a part of the game forever.
Lynn was not happy that Velazquez was trying to “search for hits.”
With the way Lynn pitched in this game, the Angels had no problem hitting him.
He threw six innings, with eight hits and five earned runs.
Also, Lynn gave up three home runs in the game.
Velazquez was simply looking for a way to get on base.
The Angels are loaded with power hitters such as Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani.
There is no shame in trying to have a few runners on base when those guys step up to the plate.
Ultimately, Lynn has always been a pitcher that is not afraid to share his opinion.
Even though he did not like the bunt attempt, they will remain a big part of every team’s strategy.
