The Kansas City Chiefs got a huge win on Saturday.
They took down another AFC foe in the Houston Texans, and they’re now one win – or a Buffalo Bills loss – away from clinching the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
There were some doubts about whether they should play Patrick Mahomes, as he left last week’s game with an injury and looked pretty banged up.
Mahomes played, and the team was rather efficient in every facet of the game.
That’s why Andy Reid believes this was his team’s best all-around performance all season.
Following the win, the renowned head coach said he hoped his team would play all the games this way, adding that they would have a short turnaround (via Sports Radio 810 WHB).

They will face the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day, and a win would allow them to clinch a first-round bye.
Needless to say, that will be easier said than done.
Although the Steelers have struggled over the past couple of weeks, they still boast one of the league’s best and most physical defenses.
Given the Chiefs’ woes and the difficulties of keeping Mahomes out of harm’s way, facing T.J. Watt isn’t exactly what the doctor ordered.
Even so, the Chiefs have now put together back-to-back impressive offensive performances.
Although they haven’t been as dominant this season, at least on paper, they seem to be peaking at the right time.
