In Week 3, the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs were finally able to have a performance that people expected from Patrick Mahomes and company, as they made easy work of the lowly Chicago Bears, 41-10.
Even though the headlines were dominated by Taylor Swift showing up to the game to watch superstar tight end Travis Kelce play at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, head coach Andy Reid wasn’t happy about one aspect of the Week 3 blowout.
Reid believes that offensive lineman Jawaan Taylor is being targeted by the referees with illegal formation penalties due to him getting away with a few in the season opener against the Detroit Lions.
The legendary head coach thinks that Taylor is now being made an example of and is unfairly being penalized, via ProFootballTalk.

Fortunately for the Chiefs, Kansas City seemed to return to form offensively in Week 3, with the team lighting up the scoreboard and dominating Chicago the way everyone anticipated they would.
Although the offense is clicking once again, Mahomes isn’t 100% right now after dealing with another ankle injury that he suffered against the Bears on Sunday.
However, in classic Mahomes fashion, he didn’t let the injury get the best of him as he continued to play before handing the ball over to backup quarterback Blaine Gabbert to finish the game.
As a result of the win, the Chiefs improved to 2-1 on the season and will go on the road to face the New York Jets in Week 4.
