In a season full of bad days, Sunday was possibly the worst for the Golden State Warriors, as they were blown out by the Boston Celtics in a massive 52-point defeat at TD Garden.
During the game, Stephen Curry was only able to score 4 points and 3 assists, a shocking statline for the four-time champion.
Curry is apparently dealing with a knee injury, but according to Anthony Slater it’s not too bad.
Speaking to 95.7 The Game, Slater revealed insight on Curry’s injury:
“It’s a little swollen but he said it felt fine the morning of the Boston game. He tested it out pregame and it was fine. It sounds like one of those minor bumps that happens over the course of the year.”

During the game, Curry went 2-of-13 from the field and that wasn’t the first time he has suffered on the court.
A few games before, he was only 6-of-21, and days before that just 6-of-19 and then 5-of-14.
Those numbers aren’t like Curry, of course, so it has many people wondering how long he has been battling this knee problem.
Slater says that it’s just a “minor bump” but now is not the time for Curry to have any sort of injury, no matter how minor.
The Warriors are the tenth team in the Western Conference with a 32-28 record.
They are desperately trying to dig out of the hole they dug earlier in the season and prepare themselves for a playoff run.
That will require that Curry is feeling good and playing well.
Even after so many years, Curry is still the most important part of the Warriors’ roster and their definitive leader, ball-handler, and point-maker.
If this team is going to rebound, he will need to stay healthy.
