The Buffalo Bills entered the season as one of the powerhouses in the AFC, but they definitely didn’t play like it in the season opener.
At least, not at the most crucial position in the game, as Josh Allen struggled mightily — again — and this is becoming a worrisome trend.
Allen’s reckless and careless play has cost the Bills over and over dating back to last season.
That’s why former NFL player Marcus Spears believes he’s playing with fire right now, adding that he’s risking losing his best target in Stefon Diggs.
Spears said on ESPN’s “Get Up” that Diggs is getting tired of the same old thing with Allen, stating that consistency matters and that the Bills won’t win a Super Bowl with Allen turning the ball over like this.
"Josh Allen is playing football to where he's going to lose his top target in Stefon Diggs."

He stated that we all know what Allen is capable of when he’s at his best, as he already proved it by going toe-to-toe with Patrick Mahomes.
Nonetheless, he also said he’s a bit of an adrenaline junkie as he’s often looking to rip the football down the field to showcase his arm strength.
Allen’s arm strength is remarkable; no one can deny that, and it has helped him win some football games in the past.
Still, he’s just pressing too much right now, and while putting him in the same conversation of a quarterback like Dak Prescott is a huge stretch, it’s time people start holding him accountable for all the careless and avoidable turnovers that keep holding his team back week in and week out.
