The Denver Nuggets haven’t been as dominant this season as they were last year.
They might not even get the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference again this season.
Nonetheless, that doesn’t mean they’re not a legitimate championship contender.
If anything, it seems like they’re just taking it easy, managing their reps, and making sure to get the band healthy for when it matters the most.
Even so, they continue to win games and beat contenders.
With that in mind, FOX Sports analyst Kevin Wildes took to Twitter to claim no one is going to be able to take them down in a seven-game series.
No one is beating Denver in a 7 game series.

That’s not far-fetched to think.
They were trailing for most of the game vs. the Los Angeles Lakers, and they just turned the corner late in the game to beat them on the road by double digits; they’re just that kind of team.
Even with Jamal Murray’s shot not falling, they got 25 points on 100% shooting from the floor by Michael Porter Jr.
Nikola Jokic continues to play like the best player on Earth, and it seems like they can match up defensively with anyone.
On top of that, there’s no legitimate Jokic stopper in the league right now; no one has come up with a way to get past him.
The Nuggets might not get as much press as other teams, but we already know how they proved everybody wrong last season.
Now, praise and attention or not, they continue to be the team to beat in the Association.
