The Dallas Cowboys have been known as “America’s Team” for many years.
They’ve built up one of the most successful and recognizable brands of any sports team around the world.
With that brand recognition comes a lot of conversation in the media, and the Cowboys are often put under a microscope because of the position they’ve put themselves in.
Cowboys fans, along with NFL fans across the world, called for Mike McCarthy to be removed from his post as head coach at the end of the 2023 season, but Jerry Jones stuck with him for another year.
This decision was heavily scrutinized at the time and throughout the 2024 campaign, but Jones finally made the call to fire McCarthy when the season ended.
While this might seem like a breath of fresh air and a chance for the Cowboys to refresh and rest, analyst Rob Parker took a different approach in a recent conversation on FOX Sports Radio.
“I’m blaming the Dallas Cowboys fans… This is what you’ve allowed to continue to happen with all these terrible coach hires,” Parker said.

Parker believes that Cowboys fans have enabled Jones’ behavior for years and not held him accountable for his actions and decisions, which is a big reason for the team’s lack of success over the past two decades.
They’ve made the playoffs plenty of times in recent history, but considering they keep falling short of the Super Bowl, the Cowboys might need more than a coaching change to find their way back to relevancy.
