The NBA continues to catch strays over the All-Star Weekend.
For years, fans have complained about what this weekend has turned into, up to the point where some have stated that the league should just cancel it.
Notably, that includes NBA analyst Kevin O’Connor.
In the latest edition of his podcast, O’Connor claimed that NBA Commissioner Adam Silver should be embarrassed right now.
Adam Silver should be embarrassed by the All-Star Weekend we just witnessed. https://t.co/wTLSKV4hqf pic.twitter.com/M2x6915JpL

He said that he didn’t believe things could get worse, but they did.
O’Connor pointed out that not even the broadcasters seemed to know what was going on.
Kevin Hart got more screen time than the actual players, there were so many breaks, and having a 20-minute intermission to honor the Inside the NBA crew right in the middle of the final made no sense.
O’Connor also poked fun at Silver for not even getting Stephen Curry to participate in the three-point shooting contest despite the game taking place in San Francisco.
LeBron James and Anthony Edwards didn’t even bother playing, and once again, a G-Leaguer saved the Dunk Contest.
The Rising Stars team making it to the All-Star Game semifinal didn’t sit well with O’Connor and several fans either, arguing that an All-Snub team might have been more exciting to watch.
The league continues to tweak things up in an attempt to get the fans’ attention back, but this isn’t the way to go.
All the fans want to watch is the best players acting as such.
Until that happens, everything else will be irrelevant.
