The Buffalo Bills will live and die by their quarterback.
Josh Allen could either look like a superstar or like a rookie; you just never know which version of him you’ll get, sometimes even in the very same game.
That was again on full display on Monday night’s heartbreaking loss to the New York Jets, in which he fumbled the ball twice (one lost) and threw three interceptions.
Allen is pressing and trying to do too much, which is why former NFL player Willie Colon believes he’s having a bit of an identity crisis right now.

He says Bills fans should be worried because he’s a guy making mistakes that one would expect from players in his first or second year, not at this point in his career.
Allen is trying to prove a point on every dropback, throwing into double coverage and ripping the football down the field, and that’s not always the way to win football games.
Allen’s talents have never been questioned; we know what he can do.
But there’s only so much his team can stand, and turning the football over four times isn’t going to get the job done.
Add Stefon Diggs’ evident discontent with him and the organization, and there could be trouble brewing upstate in New York if he doesn’t get his act together soon enough.
