On “Thursday Night Football,” the Baltimore Ravens headed into an always-tough divisional matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals in hopes of improving to 7-3, putting some more pressure on the first-place Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC North.
Even though it has been a rough season for Joe Burrow and company, the Bengals posed a threat to the Ravens and quickly proved why by dominating the game in the first three quarters, with Ja’Marr Chase putting on a show on his way to 264 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 11 receptions.
Although Burrow and Chase were clicking all night long, with the Ravens defense having no answer for the dynamic duo, Baltimore showed why it is a legitimate Super Bowl contender in the fourth quarter, scoring 21 points to pull out a one-point win on its home field of M&T Bank Stadium.
Chase may have put on a show during the majority of this game, but superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson proved to be the difference in the end, which has convinced one FOX Sports analyst that the race for NFL MVP is all but over.
“I think Lamar is running away with this MVP award,” Emmanuel Acho said on “The Facility.” “I don’t know that it is particularly close at this point in time right now.”

It’s hard to argue with Acho in this case, as Jackson arguably has been the best quarterback in the league this season and continues to show that last season’s MVP performance was no fluke.
If the Ravens continue to win games and head into the playoffs with a high seed again in the AFC, Jackson could very well win back-to-back MVP awards while also having a great chance of winning the Vince Lombardi Trophy as well.
