The Buffalo Bills found mixed results with their new team this season.
At first, it seemed like not having a clear-cut WR1 was a blessing in disguise for them, as Josh Allen was doing a great job of getting everybody involved, spreading the wealth, and keeping defenses guessing.
Then, the need for a reliable go-to guy, especially down the stretch, became a little more evident.
That’s why Brandon Beane didn’t waste a lot of time and made sure to address that need by going after Amari Cooper.
It didn’t take long before the former Cleveland Browns star made an impact on his new team, hauling in four receptions in five targets for 66 yards and one touchdown.
Cooper was having a down year with the Browns, but his production should take a big bump now that he’s playing with the best quarterback he’s had in his career.
Moreover, it also gives the Bills a lot of resources to have a more dynamic passing game.
At least, that’s how Greg Cosell feels (via One Bills Live).
With the addition of WR Amari Cooper, the #Bills now have multiple options with their personnel…

Notably, the renowned analyst stated that the Bills now have four wide receivers who can line up anywhere on the field.
And with TE Dalton Kincaid also being able to make an impact regardless of where he’s lined up, Joe Brady will have more than enough resources to work with.
Cooper isn’t getting any younger, and perhaps his production is only going down from now on.
But if he can give this team a reliable pair of hands to trust down the stretch, the Bills will be a very dangerous team.
