The Pittsburgh Steelers chose not to pursue a quarterback in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Unless they get someone else, they will have to roll with Mason Rudolph.
Nonetheless, team insider Ray Fittipaldo doesn’t think that will be the case.
Talking on 93.7 The Fan, he predicted that Aaron Rodgers would be the starter in 2025.
“I do,” Fittipaldo answered when asked if Rodgers would be the Steelers’ starting QB in 2025. “If everything works out with his personal life, yes, Aaron Rodgers will be the Steelers’ quarterback in 2025.”

Rodgers has been dragging out his decision to play for the Steelers for weeks now, but the front office sounds quite confident in their chances of getting him.
Of course, he’s still a temporary solution, nonetheless.
Even though he’s coming off a disappointing tenure with the New York Jets, Rodgers will still be a big upgrade over both Justin Fields and Russell Wilson, even at this point in his career.
He’s also most definitely a sizable upgrade over the ever-struggling Rudolph.
Still, it’s hard to believe the Steelers will be able to compete at the highest level with him around.
They acquired another high-end wide receiver in D.K. Metcalf, but, once again, George Pickens’ antics and social media activity have raised questions about his future with the team.
Rodgers’ reputation precedes him, and his volatility will always be a major concern.
Even so, some believe that he still has plenty left on the tank, and with everybody counting him out and stating that he’s done, he should have more than enough motivation to be at his best and lead the very same team he beat in the Super Bowl to the biggest stage before riding into the sunset.
