What will the Houston Rockets do during the summer?
That is what all fans are asking now that the season is over for Ime Udoka and his young, promising team.
They were just eliminated from the playoffs by the Golden State Warriors, and Trevor Lane believes this loss could make them “aggressive” on the trade market in the months ahead.
“Think this will make the Rockets aggressive on the trade market. They have assets, clearly need players who can score in the halfcourt,” Lane said.
Was this a reference to a potential trade that Rockets fans have been dreaming about?

For months now, people have been talking about the possibility of bringing Kevin Durant to the Rockets.
Because of his affinity for playing in Texas due to his years in college, Durant is a prime target for the Rockets.
Plus, as Lane mentioned, they have plenty of assets and require a player like him, someone who can produce from the halfcourt.
Of course, the Rockets haven’t been the only team supposedly tied to Durant.
Other Texas franchises like the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Mavericks have been mentioned as potential destinations, and other squads throughout the association might try to pry Durant from the Phoenix Suns.
Even if the Rockets don’t pursue Durant, they will surely be hunting for another star to add to their rotation.
They have experienced a taste of what they can accomplish in the postseason, and they want a lot more.
The Rockets are a team to watch in the weeks ahead because they could be very active between now and the start of next season.
