The New York Jets are a team that needed to add a quarterback.
It was clear they were looking to make a big move by acquiring one via trade or free agency.
For most of the offseason, it seemed like they keyed in on one player.
That was Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Now a member of the Jets, Rodgers should take the Jets into Super Bowl contention.
But Rodgers is not the only key piece that the Jets added.
They have a strong roster and are one of the top teams in a vaunted AFC.
According to Steve Palazzolo of PFF, the Jets are the most improved team in the NFL this offseason.

Palazzolo mentioned how the rankings are driven by quarterbacks.
So it makes sense that the team who acquired the top quarterback available would be the most improved.
Also on offense, the Jets added wide receivers Mecole Hardman and Allen Lazard.
The success of the Jets will come down to what version of Rodgers we see.
Last season PFF graded him in the high 70s as Palazzolo said.
That is far from the MVP-level player we saw back in 2020 and 2021.
If he can return to MVP form, the Jets will have one of the best teams in the league.
If not, they might not even make the playoffs.
