The New York Jets have had a tough start to the season.
In what seemed like a curse, they lost their future first-ballot Hall of Famer quarterback four plays into the season, thus killing most of their chances and hopes.
As a matter of fact, even though we’re just three weeks into the season and they boast a 1-2 record, NFL analyst David Jacoby believes they’re already eliminated from playoff contention, as he said on “The Carton Show.”
"I'll tell you right now, the Jets are eliminated from playoff contention. They are not making the playoffs."

The Jets made it a close game vs. the New England Patriots, thanks to their defense, and there’s still a light at the end of the tunnel because of them.
Likewise, there are serious concerns and doubts regarding Zach Wilson, who’s once again the biggest hurdle they need to get past to get to the playoffs.
The former No. 2 pick has struggled vastly since he entered the league, and even though there were positive reviews about his offseason improvements, that hasn’t shown on the field.
The BYU product ranks last or close to last in most important QB-related metrics, and it’s about time HC Robert Saleh realizes he needs to move on from him.
The Jets have way too much talent to go to waste, and while there aren’t that many options to replace Wilson at this point, they should at least explore all potential avenues; they just cannot afford to miss the playoffs again.
If not, then Jacoby might be right, and this Jets’ team’s season could be over before it even started.
