For years, the Buffalo Bills have been one of the strongest teams in the National Football League.
However, that hasn’t exactly translated into much success, at least in the postseason.
Divisional banners aren’t enough when you have a team as good as the one they’ve put together, especially considering how much money they’ve spent to get the ball rolling.
That’s why some people believe this could be the end of the line for the current administration.
HC Sean McDermott might enter the season on the hot seat, as it’s about time they get the job done.
With that in mind, NFL Craig Carton didn’t hesitate to predict that, by this time next year, coach McDermott will no longer be with the team.
“Sean McDermott will not be the Buffalo Bills head coach beyond this upcoming season. He is being set up to be the scapegoat for Buffalo’s inability to get to a Super Bowl with Josh Allen,” Carton said.

Talking on The Carton Show, he stated that the organization is setting McDermott up for failure, so he can be the scapegoat for their shortcomings.
That might be a bit of a stretch, but it’s not that far-fetched to think.
The Bills’ title window could be closing right before their eyes, as their salary cap situation will make it tough to keep stars around Josh Allen.
To be fair, the Bills have been on the wrong end of some heartbreaking losses.
Then again, this is a results-oriented business, and as such, McDermott will be held accountable if they don’t get the job done.
