The New York Giants unexpectedly made the playoffs in 2022, throwing many analysts into a tailspin.
When discussing the team, some said this was a product of Daniel Jones’ development, a new coach, or just luck.
As the Giants look ahead to the 2023 campaign with high hopes, Emmanuel Acho outlined an expectation for this team.
“I believe Danny Dimes can take the Giants to the next level,” Acho said.

Jones was inked to a four-year contract extension during the offseason, demonstrating the Giants’ faith in him.
He did take a step forward in production from the prior season, which many believe was the cause for this extension.
Jones threw for 3,205 yards, 15 touchdowns, and just five interceptions in 2022.
This was a marked improvement from 2021, especially considering his passing yardage and interception totals.
He increased his passing yardage by nearly 1,000 yards, demonstrating more poise and confidence in the pocket.
Acho believes he’s due for another uptick in production, which will lead the Giants down a successful road.
As he illustrated, Jones will hopefully use the new offensive pieces to his advantage.
The Giants notably added Darren Waller during the offseason, a veteran tight end.
Waller could be a safety blanket for Jones and a potential target monster for the upcoming year.
Acho also called out rookie Jalin Hyatt, who has consistently been admired throughout training camp.
While Jones might not be one of the league’s top-five quarterbacks, Acho believes he can do enough for the Giants.
Can the Giants replicate their success of 2022, making the playoffs again?
