The Cincinnati Bengals have turned their culture around way faster than most NFL teams.
Drafting Joe Burrow and surrounding him with some solid pieces has turned the team into a legit Super Bowl contender and a force to reckon with out of the AFC North.
However, as improved as the team is and as far as they’ve gotten as of late, NFL analyst Craig Carton believes they’re never going to win a Super Bowl, citing that they’re just “one of those teams.”
Carton said that even their best player’s father didn’t want his son to be there, talking about Ja’Marr Chase’s dad saying that he would’ve rather gone to South Florida to play for the Miami Dolphins.

He added that he cannot blame Chase’s dad because no one ever wants to go to Cincinnati, citing that they’re good people but that there’s a reason why they leave “the pitfall of Ohio” to go live in Kentucky.
Needless to say, those words might not sit well with Bengals fans, and chances are Carton won’t be greeted with love if he shows his face around town.
Also, all due respect to Chase — who’s undoubtedly one of the prime wide receivers in the game and will be for years to come — he’s not the best player on the team, Burrow is.
The Bengals will be perennial contenders for as long as Burrow is there and healthy, and while they’re not the biggest market in the game, they’ll always have a chance with him under center.
