As usual, the Dallas Cowboys will have high hopes for the upcoming NFL season, with Jerry Jones and company set to put a very talented football team on the field come Week 1 against the New York Giants on the road at MetLife Stadium.
The Cowboys will have one of the most well-rounded teams in the NFL coming into the 2023 campaign, with a potent offense led by Dak Prescott and a lockdown defense with Micah Parsons leading the charge.
Although the franchise will be under pressure to make some noise in 2023, the bulk of the pressure will rest at the feet of Prescott, who desperately needs to experience some playoff success to cement his legacy as one of the better quarterbacks in Cowboys history.
Emmanuel Acho of Fox Sports believes 2023 will be the year for Prescott, as the veteran quarterback will finally have all the right pieces around him on offense to reach his true potential via Speak On FS1.

Initially, this may seem like a bold take from Acho, as usually, that’s what this show is all about on a daily basis, with an emphasis on the most popular teams in the NFL and NBA, like the Los Angeles Lakers and Cowboys.
However, Acho is on to something here, as this will be a defining year for Prescott with two star wide receivers at his disposal and a star running back coming out of the backfield with CeeDee Lamb, Brandin Cooks, and Tony Pollard.
As long as Prescott gets the protection he needs up front, he may very well have a season to remember in Dallas.
