During his brief career with the Carolina Panthers, Luke Kuechly was an absolute force to be reckoned with.
However, he didn’t get the nod to be in the Hall of Fame, at least not yet.
With that in mind, NFL analyst Greg Cosell expressed his disappointment.
Talking on “The Ross Tucker Podcast,” Cosell claimed that as much as he still expects Kuechly to be inducted at some point, the fact that he didn’t get the nod as a first-ballot Hall of Famer was a bit of a disappointment.
“The one disappointment I had and I hope he gets in at some point. I think Luke Kuechly is a Hall of Famer.”

Kuechly seemed to be on pace to be one of the best players of all time, but durability and longevity are also a big part of the equation.
The former Defensive Player of the Year retired after just eight seasons, citing the ripple effects that so many concussions had on him.
Even despite his short-lived career, Kuechly was one of the most dominant players in the league.
He was a five-time All-Pro, Defensive Rookie of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and a member of the 2010s All-Decade Team.
He was also selected to the Pro Bowl in seven consecutive seasons – all but his rookie year.
Kuechly helped the Panthers go 15-1 and reach the Super Bowl as well.
Of course, the Hall of Fame is only reserved for the creme of the crop, and the players who get the nod are more than deserving of it.
Hopefully, Kuechly will eventually get his opportunity, just like Eli Manning and other snubs from this year’s class.
