The Golden State Warriors have experienced a season full of ups and downs with plenty of good and even more bad, but there have been some bright spots despite all of that.
Jonathan Kuminga is perhaps the biggest one of them all and he is making a name for himself as someone who could be a part of the team for many years to come.
Speaking to 95.7 The Game, Monte Poole celebrated Kuminga and said the Warriors’ recent string of wins wouldn’t have been possible without him.
“The run this team made a month ago wouldn’t have happened without the young guys. Jonathan Kuminga has been the most consistent Warriors player over the last six weeks,” Poole said.

Since the end of January, Kuminga has recorded 14.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3 assists per game.
He’s also been landing 52.6% of his field goals.
For a team that has been the epitome of inconsistency, Kuminga was a breath of fresh air because he could be relied on for every game.
At the start of the season, no one was quite sure what was next for Kuminga and the team.
There were rumors of him being supremely unhappy with his position on the roster but things got hashed out between him and head coach Steve Kerr.
Since then, Kuminga has played a lot more and looked much happier, and productive, on the court.
Several weeks ago, the Warriors were winning multiple games and were playing in much better form.
Kuminga was at the center of it all
Things have gotten a bit rockier since then, especially with the injury to Stephen Curry, but Kuminga continues to play well and make an impact during every game.
He helped Golden State surge in a big way a few weeks ago, but can he do it again right before the start of the playoffs?
